Oil & Gas equipment at RIO OIL & GAS-2016 in Rio de Janeiro

On 24 to 27 October, 2016, RIOCENTRO — one of the most modern exhibition centres in Rio de Janeiro — for the 18th time will be hosting RIO OIL & GAS exhibition. This year, organizers changed their approach to the event and prepared a new business program.

The event is held every two years, under the auspices of Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP). In 2014, the exhibition spread over the total area of 34,000 sq.m with 1100 exhibitors from 31 countries. Over 47,000 visitors attended the exhibition to see the presented products. The 2014 edition of the event set a new record by the number of business transactions — over the two days there were 828 meetings with 176 manufacturers and 37 companies.

Apart from representatives of the hosting country, RIO OIL & GAS-2016 exhibition also has participants from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Israel, China, Turkey, Argentina, Italy, Japan, Canada, Holland, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, and Russia.  National pavilions were organized for Germany, France, and Israel.

FRESHEXPO specialists were happy to provide a number of services to Transneft Diascan, JSC. Namely, we hired and designed an exhibition stand at RIO OIL & GAS-2016 exhibition, booked hotel rooms, provided transportation, interpreting, and exhibition cargo freight services.

Rio Oil & Gas exposition presents a whole range of equipment for gas, oil and petrochemical industries; innovative solutions for field exploration, well-drilling, fields development and their environmentally-conscious exploitation, facilities construction; technologies for oil and gas storage and transportation to consumers in various regions of the world; valves, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, control systems and devices; shelf oil development equipment, tankers;  liquid and petrochemical products; power generating systems, safety systems, technologies for waste treatment and environmental pollution control.

The Rio Oil & Gas 2016 Conference will cover the following subjects:

• Product Supply & Quality Refining, Petrochemistry, Transportation, Distribution and Infrastructure;
• Energy Supply - Natural Gas & Power Supply, Biofuels, Other Renewables;
• Industry Sustainability - Meeting Stakeholders Interests.

Besides the Exhibition, Rio Oil & Gas is promoting parallel events, including the WPC Future Leaders Forum and the Asphalt Meeting, and a number of industrial workshops on issues of sustainable technical development. During Rio Oil & Gas 2016 Exhibition, the Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) will announce Leopoldo Miguez and Plínio Cantanhede Awards.
