Uzbekistan is opening its 20th Anniversary International Exhibition OGU — Oil & Gas Uzbekistan

Starting today in Tashkent, the 20th Anniversary International Exhibition OGU (Oil & Gas Uzbekistan) will spread across all key industry sectors. The show attracted 200 companies from 14 countries. The bigger part of exhibitors are regular participants coming to OGU every year to showcase the development thrust of their enterprises and also to expand their business contacts in the region and among international partners. In 2016, OGU will present the latest technologies from the largest participants: Lukoil, SOCAR, Schlumberger, General Electric, Hyndai Engineering, and many more.

As part of OGU Uzbekistan, there takes place the Conference on «Oil and Gas sector of Uzbekistan: Technologies, Investments and Development». The conference will be visited by over 400 delegates from 27 countries.

Among the speakers at the conference are the Secretary General of the International Gas Union Paul Rasmussen and the first deputy chairman of the European Commission for Energy Marosh Shevchovich.  Established in 1931, the International Gas Union is a worldwide non-profit organization aimed at promoting the political, technical and economic progress of the gas industry. Today, the Union has more than 91 full-fledged and 51 associated members.

Over 80 experts are invited to speak at the Oil & Gas Conference OGU-2016. They will share their vision on hot issues for the industry, such as «Increasing productivity and output of oil and gas exploration and extraction in Uzbekistan», «Gas refinement project development», «Renewable energy», etc.
