KADEX 2012, the Second International exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment, took place in Astana (Kazakhstan)

On May 3–6, 2012, the territory of the military sector at Astana International airport became the venue for KADEX 2012 Expo.

FRESHEXPO developed and successfully realized a design project of a 200 sq. m stand for the state-owned company UKRSPECEXPORT. The exhibition stand of the Ukraine was visited by the Kazakhstan President N. Nazarbayev and the Ukraine Defence Minister D. Salamatin.

The First International exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment was held in 2010 with great success and became a significant event for the collaboration of Kazakhstan and other countries in the sphere of military equipment. The KADEX-2010 Expo became a place of meetings and negotiations for the official delegations of over 40 countries.

As part of the KADEX 2012 exhibition there were held a number of conferences, workshops, presentations, and round table discussions attended by the Kazakhstan armed forces structural units and experts of military organisations and enterprises. The program of the event included the armed forces exhibition performance of special service units with military equipment.

The exhibition space of the Second International exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment KADEX 2012 was over 15,000 sq. m and the event was attended by more than 200 domestic companies, as well as companies from the CIS and far abroad countries.

The exhibition categories included:

• Weapons systems and military equipment;
• IT technologies and communication;
• Logistics equipment and medicine;
• Development and infrastructure.
