Oil, Gas, Infrastructure of Mangistau 2011 - the 6th Kazakhstan Regional Exhibition in Aktau, Kazakhstan

During November 1–3, Grand Nur Plaza Hotel & Convention Centre in the city of Aktau was the venue for the 6th Kazakhstan Regional Exhibition Oil, Gas, Infrastructure of Mangistau 2011.

FRESHEXPO developed and successfully realized a design project of a stand for Research and Production Enterprise BURINTECH. The Stand for Research and Production Enterprise BURINTECH was rewarded with a prize for the Best Design.

This year the Exhibition was timed to the 50th anniversary since the start of hydrocarbons production on the peninsula.

Over 70 leading international and national Kazakhstan organisations became participants of this exhibition. These companies are employed in oil production, manufacturing equipment for oil and gas sector and providing services.

The Exhibition was attended by about 10,000 specialists and professionals working in oil and gas producing organisations. Among the regular participants of the Exhibition are such companies as: JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, SEZ Seaport Aktau, AktauTechVest, Zirax, KazPromPribor, KAZSTROYINNOVATION, MetalPromExport Co. Ltd, NPF Paker, PKTBA, Prikaspiysky MaChinebuilding Complex Ltd, LLC Firma Radius-Servis, Uralskiy Nauchnoissledovatelskiy trubniy institute (UralNITI), Elkam-Neftemash, ARCELOR MITTAL AKTAU, Red Mountain, RIG, RIWAL, Shell and others.

As part of this Exhibition the 3rd Kazakhstan Regional Conference on Oil and Gas Technologies took place.

The Mangistau region is ranked third in the Republic in total volume of industrial production. Oil and gas sector forms the basis of the region economy with the quantum of output making over 90% of the total manufactured industrial product in the region. Oil deposits in this region total 3156,2 mln ton, extractable feedstock — 1440,3 mln ton, and the extractable deposits of the Kashagan field are evaluated approximately 7-9 bln barrels. The centre of the Mangistau region — the city of Aktau — is a sea trading port situated on the Caspian Sea coast. The Mangistau region is the only self-contained production complex, unique for Kazakhstan, independently supplied with all kinds of energy and water.
