Metal-Expo 2014 - International Industrial Exhibition

On November 11-14, at The Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy Fairground (VDNKha), Moscow, started the 20th International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo 2014. Every year this event brings together Russia's leading steel producers, tubes and pipes manufacturers, non-ferrous metals processing plants, aluminium rolled products manufacturers, constructors, machine-builders, industry service centers and other stakeholders.

Over 700 Russian and foreign companies arranged their expositions and are ready to present their products at the exhibition.

Among regular exhibitors are: MMK, TMK, Severslal, Mechel, OMK, NLMK Group, ChelPipe, OMZ-SpecialSteels, Electrostal Metallurgical Plant, Lysva Metallurgical Company, JSC “Metallurgic plant named after A.K. Serov”, UMMC, Krasniy Oktyabr Combine, REMZ, Urals Pipe Works (Uraltrubprom), Zlatoust Special Armory Steels Works, Motovilikha Plants Corporation, Ruspolymet, Omutninsk Metallurgical Plant, EZTM and many other manufacturers and suppliers of ferrous metals, pipes and metal constructions.

The number of foreign participants has increased: in 2014, at Metal-Expo there were 320 companies from 35 countries, compared to last year's 312 foreign participants. The event has attracted more companies from India, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Kazakhstan. National stands were organized by companies from Germany, China, Spain, Finland.

Many enterprises sent their delegations of 50-80 persons headed by directors and top-managers who have full power to sign contracts and take decisions on equipment supplies. Over 4000 highly-qualified industry specialists are occupied on companies' showstands.

Business program of metal manufacturers' forum offers over 50 conferences, workshops, round-table discussions and numerous business meetings.

The exhibition will continue running until 14 November. It is expected that the event will be attended by about 30,000 specialists.

Over these twenty years the International Industrial Exhibition Metal-Expo has become an established leader among the largest industrial forums. It reflects the development of domestic and global metal manufacturing.
