Caspian Oil & Gas 2012 - The 19th International Oil & Gas, Refining and Petrochemistry Exhibition and Conference in the Caspian region

The 5th of June saw the opening of the largest event in Baku for exchanging experience, ideas and top-of-the-art technologies. Every year this exhibition is attended by the leading experts in oil industry from all over the world.
Traditionally, the Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev took part in the opening ceremony. He visited the show stands and said a speech to all participants and guests of the event. In total the 2012 exhibition attracted over 300 companies from 35 countries of the world, while the Conference was attended by 550 delegates. The participants of the Conference in Azerbaijan were representatives of governments of different countries, large energy resources exporters and importers, general managers and key personnel of international organizations and various companies in Oil & Gas sector.
The international status of the even was proved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry certificate (UFI). Participation in the Conference allowed assessing the Oil & Gas market development, the potentials for the region, large investment projects, solutions to the global energy assurance problems.
The Exhibition Contractors was the largest exhibition and conference organizer in the world — the British company ITE Group PLC, and its partner — Iteca Caspian LLC. This Exhibition was held with the assistance of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Azerbaijan Republic.
