JANUARY
In January, Abu-Dhabi is hosting the INTERNATIONAL WATER SUMMIT – the Middle-East summit for water sustainability in arid regions. It will take place at ADNEC exhibition centre on 18–21 January.  Water supply and purification issues are especially urgent for dry regions, and that is why new generation technologies and solutions are often presented in this part of the world. Among innovations to be presented is a water treatment plant by California’s Trevi Systems
The Water Summit in Abu-Dhabi will go in parallel with events in related industries: Abu Dhabi Sustainability Business Week, World Future Energy Summit, and an Eco Waste Exhibition.

On 27–29 January, Tokyo will see the International Water Solution Exhibition INTERAQUA 2016. It will demonstrate innovation equipment and materials for industrial water purification, recycling and reuse plants, systems for power-saving and cost of works optimization. InterAqua Exhibition is especially interesting because it is scheduled in parallel with a few other largest Japanese exhibitions (NANO TECH, ENEX/Smart Energy Japan — to name a few), which increases the effect of your trip to the event.

FEBRUARY
On 17–20 February, the city of Indianapolis in the USA will become the venue for Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show 2016. Every year, this exhibition brings together representatives of the leading manufacturers of environment protection solutions. In 2016, over 10,000 visitors from 53 countries are expected.

MARCH
Early in spring, we recommend an annual China International Filtration and Separation Exhibition FILEXPO CHINA.

APRIL
Those looking for opportunities to enter the Latin American markets and interested in innovative solutions from local companies — take a good look at the International Exhibition of Environmental Solutions and technologies Pollutec Brazil, which will take place in Brazil on 12–15 April.

During approximately the same days, on 14–16 April, Beijing is hosting SBW Expo — China International High-end Bottled Drinking Water Expo. Over 16,000 visitors are expected.

MAY
On 25–27 May, Shanghai will see the International Water-Saving Irrigation Exhibition with quite a few related events — AgriEquip, AgriAviation, iFloral, AgriChem, GardenTec, DigitalAgri, SeedTec, Fresh Asia, AgriRelated. The whole complex of agricultural trade shows will take some 40,000 sq. m of exhibition space. The event will be accompanied by a reputable international summit on irrigation equipment, technology workshops, product and technology presentations.

IFAT, the World's Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management, will be held in Munich on 30 May to 3 June. This event is held every two years. In 2014, expositions of 3081 participants from 59 countries spread over more than 230,000 sq.m! The exhibition was visited by 135,288 people, and the events on the extensive business program — by some 20,000 people.  Over 586 journalists from 31 countries were covering IFAT.
IFAT events are also held in Turkey (Ankara), SAR (Johannesburg), China (Shanghai), and India (Mumbai).

JUNE
In June, be sure to attend Aquatech China (on 15–17 June), which is expected to attend over 1,400 and more than 50,000 specialists. We at FRESHEXPO recommend you to visit international Aquatech events that are held in Russia (Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Novosibirsk), in the countries of CIS (Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Georgia), and all over the world (China, etc.)

On 19–22 June, ACE Industrial Exhibition and Conference will be held on behalf of the American Water Works Association. This event might be interesting to specialists looking for business contacts over the ocean.

On 29 June, 2016, Guangzhou will host China (Guangzhou) International High-end Drinking Water Industry Expo. A year earlier, this trade show took as many as five exhibition pavilions, demonstrated 192 expositions from 15 countries and attracted over 10,280 visitors.

JULY
A rich business program is waiting for attendees to Singapore International Water Week that will take place at the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel. Plenary meetings, round-tables and business forums will be devoted to environment protection issues, water production and efficient use, introduction of top-of-the-art technologies into production.

AUGUST
On 22–24 August, visit an exhibition with a self-explanatory name — EverythingAboutWater Expo. At this Indian exhibition apart from local specialized companies, you may get acquainted with products of companies from USA, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Israel, China, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand.

The American approach to water consumption issues will be demonstrated on 31 August to 1 September at the Water Expo in Miami, USA.

On the same days, Shanghai will host UWT China 2016 Exhibition and Forum.

SEPTEMBER
IWE ISTANBUL WATER EXPO — the only specialized exhibition for water treatment and conditioning technologies and used-water purification in Turkey — in 2016, will take place on 1–3 September in Istanbul. It is a time-proved business space for finding partners in the Balkans, Eastern Europe, CIS, Middle East and Gulf, North and East Africa, Middle and South Asia.

On 24–28 September, New Orleans will host the Annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference WEFTEC organized by the US Water Environment Federation. Special attention at this event will be given to the quality of water and strategic technologies in the industry.

OCTOBER
IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is scheduled for 9–13 October at the exhibition centre of Brisbane, Australia.
Historically, IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition events took place in Portugal in 2014, in South Korea in 2012, in Canada in 2010, in Austria in 2008, in China in 2006, in Morocco in 2004, in Australia in 2002.

In 2014, during the five days of the event, delegates of the world-leading companies took part in 42 specialized business forums, 159 sessions, and 1068 presentations of innovative projects. That year, Portugal was visited by over 5000 specialists from 107 countries, and 205 companies presented their expositions.  IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition are popular not only among people of business, but also among state regulatory authorities responsible for adoption of new regulations and standards in environmental management, use of natural resources, urban water supply, investments in innovation projects, etc.

NOVEMBER
The date of WATER AFRICA NIGERIA 2016 was shifted to November. It will take place in the capital of Nigeria — the city of Abuja.
