POWER-GEN Russia 2015 Exhibition and Conference at Moscow's Expocentre

Today is the last day of the POWER-GEN Russia 2015 exhibition at Moscow's Expocentre.
This year, the well-known to Russian and international experts exhibition «Russia Power» has changed its name and joined the Power-Gen International range of events organized by a British company PennWell. It is the world's largest power generation event focusing on the industry's latest innovations, technical trends and business strategies.

POWER-GEN Russia shares venue with a leading event for hydropower industry HydroVision Russia 2015.

Every year, representatives of top Russian and international engineering, power, and machine-building companies come together in Moscow in order to discuss the burning issues on the development of electric power industry, its investment attractiveness, technical achievements and innovation solutions to modernize operations and infrastructure.

Among participants are: Siemens AG, Alstom, MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH, Hamon, Centrax Gas Turbines, CKD Group, Power Machines OJSC, United Engine Corporation, "Urals Pipe Works" JSC (Uraltrubprom), SOYUZ Holding, Atomenergomash Group of Companies (AEM Group) and more.

Director of the Department of State Energy Policy of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Alexei Kulagin who was present at the opening ceremony, said:
«Any crisis is always the time for new opportunities, its an impulse to modernization and developing new technologies. It has long been obvious that the industry needs modernization and innovative development. Today, the fuel and energy sector of Russia is facing new challenges. One of the most important of such issues is import substitution.
The share of foreign technologies in some industries reaches 100%. So, we are to change this situation by introducing domestic developments, including innovation solutions».
