FOREIGN EXHIBITIONS FOR HVAC INDUSTRY IN 2016
Early next year, on 25–27 January, an American city of Orlando will be hosting AHR EXPO — one of the world’s largest trade shows for HVAC specialists. It will attract over 2000 industry companies and some 60,000 specialists. As part of the exhibition program, AHR Expo Innovations Awards will be presented to the winners in the following nominations: building automation; cooling; green building; heating; indoor air quality; plumbing; refrigeration; software; tools & instruments; and ventilation.
AHR EXPO events also take place in Latin America — in Mexico (AHR EXPO Mexico). In 2015, the trade show attracted 288 companies, mostly from the USA or Mexico, but there were also participants from Brazil, Peru, Columbia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Israel, Thailand, and even from Japan.
The total exhibition space was 34,448 sq. m.
At the end of the winter, on 25–27 February, ACREX INDIA will bring together representatives of businesses from Belgium, China, Check Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Netherlands, UAE, Great Britain, Ukraine and the USA. The exhibition will take four pavilions at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai with total space of 45,000 sq. m.
And halfway around the world, in Chile, on 11–13 March, 2016, starts EXPO FRIO CALOR CHILE — International Exhibition of Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation and Refrigeration. Participation in this event means entering into the Latin American market and learning about projects of local companies. The exposition will bring together over a 100 of them along with over 5000 visitors.
In spring, there will be a number of industry exhibitions in China.
Firstly, cooling, heating, air conditioning and product freezing technologies will be the subject of CHINA REFRIGERATION trade fair. Held annually since 1987, next year it will take place on 7–9 April.
Secondly, on 13–15 May, there will be another specialized exhibition for air conditioning, ventilating, refrigerating, and heating systems — AVAI CHINA in Guangzhou. 125 exhibiting companies will present their developments and services on the space of 20,000 sq. m. Over 36,000 visitors from 40 countries are expected to come.
ISH CHINA & CIHE — another specialized Chinese exhibition for thermal, plumbing, climate equipment and energy-efficient technologies — will take place in Beijing from 30 May to 1 June. The trade fair was organized in partnership with Messe Frankfurt, in a similar way to their German exhibition ISH, which will take place in Frankfurt in March 2017.
Last year, ISH China & CIHE attracted 1119 companies from 21 countries and 46,836 visitors from 50 countries. Business program of the exhibition draws particular interest. It includes China International HVAC Congress and China International Building Water Supply and Drainage Forum.
Among summer exhibitions we single out two events on HVAC equipment:
- ASIA COLD CHAIN SHOW — in Bangkok, Thailand, on 6–8 July
- CHINA INTERNATIONAL (GUANGZHOU) COLD CHAIN EQUIPMENT & TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION — in Guangzhou on 26–28 August.
Early in the autumn, on 7–9 September, Singapore is hosting one of the world’s largest specialized exhibitions MCE ASIA at a famous hotel and exhibition centre Marina Bay Sands. Two years earlier, some 156 thousand specialists got a chance to familiarize themselves with offers from 2039 companies from 59 countries. Innovation equipment was demonstrated on 325,000 sq. m.
In Great Britain there will be only one exhibition for HVAC. It will take place as part of the local UK Construction Week in Birmingham on 18–20 October. Organizers promise over 1000 participating companies and about 55,000 visitors. During the same period, you can also attend a few other events at the exhibition complex: Timber Expo (woodworking), Smart Building (intelligent systems for smart cities), Build Show (civil engineering), Energy (power engineering), Plant & Machinery Live (industrial and earthwork equipment), Kitchens & Bathrooms (solutions for kitchens and bathrooms), Surface and Materials (building and construction materials), Grand Designs (design).
CHILLVENTA NUREMBERG — an exhibition for heat pumps and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems — is held in Germany every two years. In 2016, it is scheduled for 13–15 November. The main focus of the event is on energy efficiency technologies and solutions for the world of the future. Participants are invited on thematic tours and scientific conferences. You can see presentations of the latest developments and innovative equipment. Various events take place in different halls according to their subjects for convenient navigation.
