METALLOOBRABOTKA-2016 is now open at Moscow’s Expocentre

On 23 May, for the 17th time, Moscow is receiving METALLOOBRABOTKA — the exhibition of purpose-built tools, specialized instruments, and equipment for metal-working industry. This is one of the largest industrial projects in Russia and the countries of CIS that has been held since 1984.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Russian Engineering Union and under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

950 participants at METALLOOBRABOTKA-2016 came to Moscow from 33 countries and their expositions took the space of 28,500 sq. m. Enterprises from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Italy, China, France, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Taiwan are waiting for prospective partners to showcase modern materials, technologies, and their innovative highly-productive machines and components for effective and efficient production modernization.

FRESHEXPO specialists developed a design project of a 133 sq. m. exhibition stand and constructed it on site for Robur International.

Among the 500 Russian participants at METALLOOBRABOTKA Expo are: Ivanovo Heavy Machine-Tool Plant, Ryazan Machine Tool Works, Sterlitamak Machine-Tool Enterprise (STAN GROUP), «Shlifovalniye Stanki» (Grinders) from Moscow, «Stankotech» from Kolomna; Vladimir Machine Building Plant «Technika», VNITEP, «Delta -Test», Kirovgrad Hard Alloys Plant (KZTS),   «MSZ-SALUTE»,   «NIIizmereniya», «Sasta» «Stankozavod TBS», «Stan-Samara», Kovrov Electromechanical Plant,   «KR-Group»,   «Laser Centre», Moscow Tool Plant, «TyazhMechPress», «TyazhPressMash», Ulyanovsk MT, and others.

This year’s foreign participants:  Alfleth Engineering  AG, Amada, Balluff GmbH, 5 Bystronic Laser AG, DMG MORI, Galika AG, M&D Gertner, Grob  Werke, Handtmann, Hoffmann Group, Emag ECM,  Junker, Mazak, Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V., Mori Seiki, Sandvik Coromant, TL Technology, Trumpf, Willemin Macodel, WFL Millturn Technologies and many others.

This year, for the 10th time at METALLOOBRABOTKA Show, enterprises representing the German Federated Land Saxony are organizing a joint stand. Belarusian companies will also present a joint stand.

First time to the exhibition: Swenska Transofilter from Sweden, Shinwa  Rules from Japan,  Eight  Tool  Co.,  Matrix  Machine  Tool from Great Britain, Koltech from Poland, Datalogic  Automation from Italy, Widin Co. from South Korea.
Business program of the exhibition includes:
  • The 6th International Scientific and Technical Forum  «Modern Trends in Technologies and Construction for Metal-Working Equipment»;
  • International Forum  «Digital Machinery Production: Challenges and Solutions».
  • The IV All-Russian Forum «Metal-Working. A Strategy for 2016–2018».
  • A number of specialized workshops and conferences from participating companies.
The exhibition will continue until 27 May.
